Spread Love
1/3 of Americans don't wash their hands, how can we help change that? A team and I created a mock campaign with the New York State Department of Health to present a possible solution! Together with the DOH we felt we could inspire better practices to prevent the spread of common illnesses.
We talked to people and did online research and found that the answer was clear. Everyone knows about germs but some people still choose not to wash their hands, so why not go the positive route to convince the remaining 1/3. That's why we came up with Spread Love, a campaign about spreading positivity through clean hands!
To emphasis this message of warmth and positivity, we created a heartwarming video of strangers holding hands for 45secs. But before holding hands, they washed their hands in preparation to Spread Love.
In order to have more impact with our message, we decided to go for an experiential component to bring the experience to the people. We made a 3D prototype of how the experiential ad would flow using Unreal Engine 4 and Autodesk Maya.
